TEAM OBJECTIVE – To publicize all our activities and events to the community as well as the Club Members. Efforts be made to improve the volume, frequency and accuracy of the all events and venues the club is supporting/producing, to obtain pertinent information from all Teams to effectively communicate in different venues of advertisement.

TEAM EXPECTATIONS – Responsible to keep the Kiwanis activities and events in front of the public by using the media and all other available means of communication, update website calendar and insure members are aware how to access this information, include information from service leadership clubs, to develop awareness of all other teams, to make public relations part of all their undertakings and furnish appropriate information to the CAM Team, etc.
The following competencies are expected for this team.
Communication - Communication within the team as agreed upon within the team.
Communicate with assigned officer on a monthly bases, who will communicate with Club President.
One member to attend monthly board meeting for reporting.
Obtaining information from various committees.
Team Work - Must function as a team to achieve goals the team agrees upon, for effective public relations communications. All media shall pass through chairperson or designated committee individual. Obtain information from various committees and publicize to members, as well as community.
Would be responsible for any kind of special invitations.
Responsible for Website, calendar and Facebook updates.
Problem solving
Ability to evaluate and assess how we communicate as a club, and determine effective ways to keep all members up to date, as well as community.

FUNDRAISING TEAM

TEAM OBJECTIVE – To plan and execute fundraising events and efforts to provide and increase funds for our clubs various needs and services.

TEAM EXPECTATIONS – Responsible for all the fundraising efforts of the club, seek, plan and execute successful fundraising, evaluate fundraiser outcomes. Insure participation of all club members, etc.
The following competencies are expected for this team.
Communication within the team as agreed upon within the team.
Communicate with assigned officer on a monthly bases, who will communicate with Club President.
One member to attend monthly board meeting for reporting.
Team Work - Must function as a team to achieve goals the team agrees upon, for the good of the club and increasing funds. To assist in yearly Rose Sale along with the Scholarship Team. Insure participation of all club members. Keep the CAM Team up to date in order to effectively publicize our events.
Problem Solving - Ability to evaluate issues of fundraising efforts and determine successful fundraising functions, to increase our funds for various needs and commitments of the club. To assist in Rose Sale for Scholarship Foundation.

TEAM OBJECTIVE– To increase overall membership in our club. Present new member orientation and information for new members, increase member retention. Provide weekly quality programs that are interesting, entertaining, and informative, is also to include our special events lunches.

TEAM EXPECTATIONS– Complete and Implement New Member Power-point, insure all prospective members and new members have an understanding of the clubs functioning. Create events to attract new members, conduct thorough pre-induction orientations for prospective new members, promote weekly attendance by all members, assure members adhere to the club dues policy, and properly educate all members about Kiwanis and our club. Seek entertaining, informative programming, organize and plan special lunch programs and events, also responsible for fining, inter-clubs and spiritual aims. Coordinate with Scholarship Foundation Committee the annual luncheon, etc. The following competencies are expected for this team:

Communicate with CAM Team
Team Work Must function as a team to achieve goals the team agrees upon to provide worthwhile programming. Advise members of upcoming programming as well as CAM Team, that they may include information on our website calendar.
Problem Solving - Ability to evaluate issues of decreasing membership, and why obtaining new members has been difficult Ability to evaluate and seek worthwhile weekly programs and schedule accordingly, to include special luncheons, ranging from Holiday lunches, clergy appreciation, inter-clubs, etc.

COMMUNITY & YOUTH SERVICE

TEAM OBJECTIVE– To increase, plan and organize Community and Youth Service Events for our Club. To include Scholarship Team.

TEAM EXPECTATIONS – Except for projects that directly relate to the Service Leadership Team, responsible for any and all service projects that benefit our community and children. Includes youth services (boy scout/girl scout etc.) To include Scholarship Team.

Communicate with assigned officer on a monthly bases, who will communicate with Club President.
One member to attend monthly board meeting for reporting.
Team Work Must function as a team to achieve goals the team agrees upon, for the good of service to our community, is also responsible for all service projects that benefit our community and children. Responsible for projects/events benefiting the area community in general, the environment/conservation, etc.(examples but not limited to:. Christmas in April, Jacob Stroud Corp., Police Officer & Correction Officer Recognition, Telethons, Highway Clean-up,. Red Cross Blood Drives, Environmental, Head Start, Child Car Seat Program, Girl/Boy Scouts, YMCA & Little League teams, bowling party for underprivileged), rebuilding together, and other special projects. etc. Provide up to date information to CAM team, and insure all members participate accordingly. To also include the Scholarship Foundation Team.
Problem Solving Ability to evaluate and seek worthwhile community service projects and programs that our club can contribute to, work for and assist in.

SERVICE LEADERSHIP TEAM

TEAM OBJECTIVE – Oversee Service Leadership Groups, provide Advisors to support school advisors and clubs.
TEAM EXPECTATIONS – Responsible to provide Kiwanis member-advisors and general guidance/support to the other “Kiwanis Family” service clubs such as: Circle K (college), Key Clubs (High School), Builder’s Clubs (Jr. High/Middle School), Kiwanis Kids (Elementary/Intermediate School) and Aktion Club (Adults with developmental disabilities.). This committee also selects the recipient of the Jim Bramblet Citation, also facilitates yearly R&A Event. Attempt to have clubs in all levels of education in both school districts, and do all necessary to maintain Faculty Advisors in all clubs.

Communicate with PR committee.
Team work Must function as a team to achieve goals the Team agrees upon to provide support to our SLC’s. Advise committee members of upcoming SLC events and programming, and the CAM Team, so that they may include information on our website calendar and keep all up to date.
Problem Solving Must insure that all schools have proper support and a successful program, work with school personnel to achieve optimal experience for all involved.
